There may not be a single prognosticator outside of those from the greater New York area that sleep in Buffalo Bills attire that would have argued prior to the sports betting season that their team would be the only remaining undefeated AFC team heading into their week four matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. That is the case however, after the Bills knocked off the New England Patriots in an AFC East showdown this past Sunday with another comeback win, and while a lot of things may be going their way, nobody in Buffalo is taking this sports betting streak for granted.

NFL Betting Lines: Buffalo Bills 3

While the Bills have emerged after being considered a non-contender before the season, Cincinnati fell to 1-2 following a close home loss to the San Francisco 49ers week three. The Bengals have done a few things right, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, but their offensive struggles have held them back.

NFL Betting Preview: Buffalo Bills

The Bills definitely havent done things the easy way so far this season, surrendering deficits of at least 17 points in each of their last two games before storming back in each of them to earn the win. The Buffalo running game stalled against the Patriots as Fred Jackson managed just 74 yards on the ground, but quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 369 yards and two scores and the defense came up huge with four interceptions against Tom Brady. Those turnovers were the difference in a game that was decided by a field goal, and after watching the Bills rally to end a 15-game losing streak against New England, both confidence and momentum is on their side.

NFL Betting Preview: Cincinnati Bengals

Confidence and momentum are two factors among many that the Bengals are lacking this season as they make the transition from Carson Palmer under center to rookie Andy Dalton. The former TCU product threw for 157 yards and had two interceptions against the 49ers, as despite showing flashes he is still very inconsistent. Cincinnatis defense ranks in the top-10 against both the run and pass, but they will need to put up more points if they are going to be successful. Running back Cedric Benson could give the Bengals offense the sports betting bonus jolt it needs if he can get going, as it would open things up for Dalton to air it out a little more.

NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick

Nobody projected that the Bills would be this good, and it seems as though with every game they grow more confident and it makes them a more resilient team. Buffalo now heads to Cincinnati to face a team with a ton of question marks on offense, and if the Bengals cant slow down Fitzpatrick and company, this could end up being a long day for fans at Paul Brown Stadium.
